Our Mission & Values

We're driven by a commitment to sustainability, artisan empowerment, and creating products that celebrate both tradition and innovation.

Sustainability Commitment

We believe in creating products that don't compromise our planet's future. Every Ecofy item is made from biodegradable jute fiber, processed using eco-friendly methods that minimize water usage and eliminate harmful chemicals.

Our carbon-negative approach means we offset more carbon than we produce, through tree planting initiatives and renewable energy investments in our production facilities.

Artisan Empowerment

We partner directly with artisan communities, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and sustainable livelihoods. Over 80% of our artisans are women, many of whom are the primary breadwinners for their families.

Through skills training and education programs, we help preserve traditional crafting techniques while empowering artisans to innovate and grow their capabilities.

Design Philosophy

Our design approach marries traditional craftsmanship with contemporary Scandinavian aesthetics, creating products that are both timeless and modern.

We believe in functional beauty – items that not only look stunning in your home but serve a purpose in everyday life. Each product is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural beauty of jute while meeting the needs of modern, eco-conscious consumers.

Our Sustainability Practices

From raw material sourcing to final delivery, we ensure every step of our process respects both people and planet.

Eco-Friendly Production

Sustainable Materials

We use 100% natural jute fiber, a renewable resource that requires minimal water and no pesticides to grow. Jute plants actually enrich the soil they grow in and absorb CO₂ at a rate 2-3 times higher than trees.

Water Conservation

Our production process uses 60% less water than conventional textile manufacturing. We've implemented rainwater harvesting systems at our workshops and use natural dyes that require minimal water processing.

Zero Waste Approach

Nothing goes to waste in our production. Jute scraps are repurposed into packaging materials, gift tags, or composted to fertilize community gardens. Our workshops operate on a closed-loop system that minimizes environmental impact.
